Towards the end of February, Czech ice-hockey legend, Patrik Eliáš, will be visiting America for a multitude of exciting events. Eliáš was one of the New Jersey Devils’ most prominent players, playing with them for 20 triumphant seasons. He will be an esteemed guest at the Prudential Center and also at the Bohemian National Hall.


The first event will be on Thursday, February 22nd, where Patrik Eliáš will drop the ceremonial first puck to begin the New Jersey Devils vs. Minnesota Wild game at the Prudential Center.

On Saturday, February 24th, in a very thrilling event, the New Jersey Devils will be retiring Patrik Eliáš’ No. 26 jersey after his many dedicated years to the Devils. Eliáš retired officially just last year at the end of March after many successful years of being a professional ice-hockey player. The ceremony will occur in the pregame events before the New Jersey Devils vs. the New York Islanders game of the night at the Prudential Center.

On Sunday, February 25th, Patrik Eliáš will be visiting the Bohemian National Hall, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, for a night of Czech Heritage Celebration. Not only will guests be able to meet the hockey legend himself in person, but they will have the opportunity to bid in an auction for his very own, one-of-a-kind, hockey memorabilia. Iva Pfeiffer, a Czech-Australian fashion designer, whose works have been presented at the New York Fashion Week, will be closing the event with the exclusive show of her new collection “Belonging.”
