Galery talk: Wednesday April 9, 5 – 6 pm, Reception 6 – 8 pm

Queens Colege Art Center, Benjamin S . Rosenthal Library,

65 –30 Kisena Boulevard , Queens

Six year ago in Prague, Anna Matoušková, a Czech painter, sculptor and glass artist, met the American composer Leo Kraft, Professor at Queens College. They became friends and spent hours talking about art and music, discovering in a continuing dialogue that while their media differ, their creative processes are aligned. The core of this exhibition is in Matoušková’s art, born of reflection on Prof. Kraft’s compositions. She dedicates it to his 85th birthday. Co-sponsored by the Aaron
