A Town Called Hermitage (Poustevna, das ist Paradies!)
2007, Directed by Martin Dušek, Ondřej Provazník.

Dolní Poustevna is a town on the Czech-German border with an unusual history.

After World War II almost all of the original inhabitants were forced to leave. Others have come for varying reasons to this town with no roots in order to start new lives.

Both films in Czech with English subtitles.

Lady Le Murie (Paní Le Murie)
1993, Directed by Petr Václav.
A documentary film showing Baroness Le Murie in her ordinary life. This eighty-three year old lady lives alone in the family residence that is falling into disrepair.
She does not mourn for those “good old times” but asks questions connected with human destiny and lives in harmony with nature.
