The Books Collectors

are influenced by the hard boiled American school, sci-fi properties and alternative medicine. It is a very complex book, locked in itself: there are two novels assembled - The Books Collectors and A Freefall on Tahulú. The main character of the first novel, Jiří Ryska, is reading the second. Fascinated by old forgotten books, searching and stealing deeply desired titles is the main theme of  The Books Collectors. A Freefall on Tahulú is the novel stolen by Ryska. It is a book about dying, death and the postmortal connection with the mother of the main hero, Tristan Ab. The second parallel theme of the Freefall book is a gladiator game called freefall, a strange duel between jumper and so named leviathan, the monster predator. Tristan Ab is trying to become a freefall jumper...
Everybody wants to get A Freefall on Tahulú, so Ryska has to fight for it and escape permanently. On his journey he reads this mysterious book...
