Children's Concert with Eleanor Dubinsky

This special children's' concert at the Czech Center NY includes a set by Eleanor and her Global Roots band, followed by an opportunity for children and adults in the audience to participate by playing percussion instruments and writing a new song together. The audience will then perform the song with the band.

Voted Best Up-and-Coming Francophone Singer in NYC 2010 by French Culture Guides, Eleanor Dubinsky is an American-born singer and songwriter whose music combines sultry, jazzy vocals with pop melodies and world rhythms to create romantic, organic music with international appeal.  She fuses singer-songwriter, jazz, Latin and world pop, using multiple languages and her personal experiences to tell stories that resonate in the soul.  Eleanor's music appeals to children and adults alike.  In addition to vocals, Eleanor plays guitar, cello and hand percussion, and her band includes electric and acoustic guitar, bass and Brazilian percussion.
