Europeans Behaving Badly

Thursday, November 1, 7 pm

192 Books, 192 Tenth Avenue @ 21st Street, NYC

In partnership with the Goethe-Institut, Instituto Cervantes, Istituto Italiano di Cultura, the Czech Center and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, 192 Books will host five writers: Raul Zelik (Germany), Alessandro Piperno (Italy), Jaroslav Rudis (Czech Republic), Stephane Audeguy (France) and Javier Calvo (Spain). The title of this year’s program, “Europeans Behaving Badly,” promises an evening of fine writing and great fun.

New Literature from Europe dives under the covers of bad behavior – book covers, that is. Join authors from Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the Czech Republic for a peek at just how badly characters on the Continent comport themselves.
Now in its fourth year, New Literature from Europe offers a unique opportunity to encounter international writers reading from and discussing their recent work, accompanied by readings in English.
