Exhibition through October 30th
Czech born New York based painter, Franta Nedved, exhibits large scale works. His main genre is Symbolistic Realism but he also spans a variety of styles from abstract to naturalistic. Using the ancient Egyptian technique of burning pigments into wood, Franta creates encaustics that run the gamut from apocalyptic life transforming works to classic Greek heroines.  Join him for an evening of art and talk as he shares his encounters with Andy Warhol and Pope John Paul II and reveals the inspiration behind his creations.
