The history of this legendary Prague rock band dates back to 1979 when it was established in a garage in the Prague suburbs. Through the 1980s Garage belonged to a new generation of young independent bands inspired by punk, post-punk, pub rock and new wave.
Garage songs and music are based on the personality of their charismatic leading singer Tony Duchacek. He is the author of all the band’s poetic and imaginative lyrics which are based on unique, direct, suburban slang.
D
uchacek and his bandmates continue to play at Prague's most interesting rock venues: drawing fans old and new, among them kids who can barely remember the days of communism, and are just out to have a good time listening to some driving music and ska-like sax.
