KATEŘINA ENGLICHOVÁ AND JITKA HOSPROVÁ

Harpist Kateřina Englichová is a graduate of

the Curtis Institute of Philadelphia who has

appeared as a soloist with many orchestras

both at home and abroad and has given

many chamber concerts. She received first

prize in the Concerto Soloists Competition

in Philadelphia (1994), first prize in the

prestigious Pro Musicis International Award

in New York (1995), and first prize in

Torneo International Music Competition

in Italy (2000), as well as won many other

international competitions.

Violist Jitka Hosprová studied under worldknown

Italian viola player Professor Luigi

Alberto Bianchi, won Beethoven’s Hradec

International Viola Competition at Hradec

nad Moravicí in 1993, and graduated from the

Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She

has performed concerts around the world,

including in Germany, Belgium, Austria,

Sweden, the Netherlands, and Bosnia and Herzegovina
