In case of bad weather films will be screened at the BNH indoor cinema at 7pm.

A young Slovak director Iveta Grófová recently graduated from Bratislava’s Academy of Performing Arts. Made in Ash (Až do města Aš, 2012) is Iveta Grófová’s first feature-length film. The skill with which she uses non-professional actors in authentic settings has catapulted Grófová into the limelight.
As this docu-drama shows, when times are tough, occasionally young girls are forced to make an impossible moral choice that cannot be undone. Selected as the Slovak entry for the 2012 Best Foreign Language Oscar.
Czech That Film, sponsored by Staropramen, is organized by the Czech Center in collaboration with the Consulates General of the Czech Republic in Chicago and Los Angeles in cooperation with the Gene Siskel Film Center and UCLA Film Television.
