From his youth as the first modern superstar to his senior years as the sage of European music, his career spanned the Romantic Era. The breadth and depth of his influence is incalculable.

The concert this evening will be entitled  “Liszt and the Czech National School” and will include performances of: Smetana's Bohemian Dances for piano; selected songs; Piano Trio in G minor, op. 15; Dvořák's Slavonic Dances, op. 46 for piano four hands; selected songs; and Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12 in C sharp minor, S. 244.
