For Eight Actors and Four Musicians
The story of how conductor Rafael Schächter defended performing Verdi's Requiem Mass in Terezín in 1943. The play is an imagined disputation of how Rafi overcame objections from The Council of Jewish Elders. Based on true events, this docudrama presents arguments from both sides.
Produced by The Defiant Requiem Foundation
