2014 New York Travel Festival The two-day New York Travel Festival is designed for tech-savvy, immersive travelers with a lineup of leading experts from all travel niches. Attendees will have access to lectures and sessions on topics such as adventure travel, travel technology, traveling with children and more.
It opens Saturday, April 26 at Bohemian National Hall and continues on Sunday, April 27 at Hostelling International - New York, 891 Amsterdam Avenue. The New York Travel Festival is aimed at anyone with a passion for experiential, immersive travel.

For 2014, there will be both industry and consumer content tracks.
Industry: Content and networking brought to you by our industry sponsors and partners, including: Been to Africa, Czech Tourism, Destination Accelerator, Niagara USA, Travel 2.0, Travel+Social Good, and Young Travel Professionals.
Consumer: A variety of speakers presenting in different formats in order to inspire and inform you.
There are 5 areas of content: Grand Ballroom (main gathering area), 3rd Floor (Travel 2.0 @ #NYTF and Industry Track), Kitchen (one-hour demos with chefs), Cinema (Consumer Track) and Skybox (Masterclasses and workshops).
The Grand Ballroom is the main gathering area for NYTF 2014, featuring food, drink, activities, performances, and companies/products that tech-savvy, immersive travelers will enjoy.

Dave Ambrose – @daveambrose
David serves as managing director of Steadfast Venture Capital, an early stage investment firm based in New York City. Previously, he led Travelzoo’s global mobile and social business, overseeing consumer and merchant products in six countries, audience growth and P&L management. He also regularly blogs at data.insights.ideas.
Yasser Ansari – @urbanorganism
Yasser Ansari is chief strategist at SoftFacade, a leading design and engineering firm based in New York City. He is also the co-founder and chief leaf of Project Noah, an award-winning community for wildlife exploration and education. He earned his master’s degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) where he is currently an adjunct faculty member.
