Pop-ups from Prague

"Pop-ups from Prague: A Centennial Celebration of the Graphic Artistry of Vojtěch Kubašta (1914-1992): From the Collection of Ellen G. K. Rubin"
Over 100 items from The Popuplady's extensive Kubašta collection will
showcase not only pop-up books, but pop-up and flat ephemera, advertising,
posters, original art, games and puzzles, childhood sketches, etc. all
paper-engineered and illustrated by Vojtěch Kubašta. The exhibit focuses on
Kubašta's passions for music, Mozart, Prague, and children and brings to light
the political climate in which he worked, first under the Nazis followed by the
Communists.

- Dagmar Kubaštová, Kubašta's daughter,
- Robert Sabuda, award-winning paper engineer,
- Monika Brandup, creative director of Up With Paper.
