FILM SCREENING. FILM. From Democracy to Dictatorship and Genocide: Czechoslovak Jews in Literature, Music and Film.

Obchod na Korze, the winner of the 1965 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, is a Czechoslovak film about Aryanization during WWII, written by Ladislav Grosman and directed by Ján Kadár and Elmar Klos, with Jozef Kroner and Ida Kaminska in leading roles.

 With an Introduction by Thomas Ort, Assistant Professor of History, Queens College-CUNY and George Grosman, son of Ladislav Grosman.

Admission Free but Seats are Limited
