Walking Tour of the Bohemian National Hall, With the Dvorak Room Unveiled

WALKING TOUR. Experience the architecture and history of the Bohemian National Hall from 1896 to the present and view a newly installed special exhibit in the Dvorak Room.

From its construction in 1896 as a social hall for the Czech and Slovak community to its present-day use as a center for Czech culture and commerce, the Bohemian National Hall has played a vital role in New York City life. Designer and writer Katerina Kyselica will lead a tour of the NYC landmark. Design and cultural historian Majda Kallab Whitaker will introduce a special viewing of the Dvorak Room with the exhibit “Dvorak’s New World Symphony and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.” Event organized in collaboration with the Dvorak American Heritage Association.
