Czech language courses

Continue your studies and learn Czech from the safety of your home in a virtual classroom as part of a group. Our tutors will bring classes to you via interactive online platforms (Skype, Zoom) making sure that you practice your speaking, reading, listening and writing skills in a supportive environment and in the company of your friends and colleagues, turning it into a new and fascinating experience.

The courses take place once a week for 8 weeks, lessons are 90 minutes each.

Organized in collaboration with Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association.

Note: Complete beginners will need a textbook Basic Czech I: Third Revised and Updated Edition December 15th 2014 - by Ana Adamovicova and Darina Ivanovova which can be found online or in most major bookstores.

The biggest Czech and Slovak school is situated in appealing Astoria. The lessons led by certified teachers are offered for adults as well as for children due to their long-standing tradition, they have been educating the public when it comes to the language or Czech and Slovak culture and history. Apart from language lessons, summer language camps for children are offered.
